Storage Engineering Consulting Services

TransGas Storage unit would like to establish a pool of qualified engineering and geoscience consulting firms to self-perform a full suite of consulting services in the salt cavern and reservoir storage field services area. Required services include the design, build, maintenance, abandonment, and operational assessment of subsurface assets related to natural gas or hydrogen storage in salt caverns and reservoirs. Typical services required, but not limited to, the following: Salt Cavern Engineering•Drilling, Completions, Workovers•Inventory Verification•Mechanical Integrity Testing•Natural Gas and Hydrogen Storage•Salt Geology•Site Selection for Cavern Development•Solution Mining / Modeling•Well & Cavern Design•Wellbore Testing Reservoir Engineering•Drilling, Completions, Workovers•Inventory Verification•Natural Gas field storage•Reservoir Geology•Reservoir Simulation / Modeling•Site Selection for Reservoir Development•Wellbore Design•Wellbore Testing
Other associated services•Economic Evaluations•Emergency Response Coordination•Operational Audits•Wellsite Supervision•Seismic Services - Seismic Acquisition, Internal (Self-perform) Interpretation and Internal (Self-perform) Re-interpretation•Geomechanical Services such as, but not limited to, Testing, Studies, Modeling, Assessments•Abandonment Planning / Program Development•TransGas, at its sole discretion, on certain projects, may assign a deliverables-based scope of work project with the Proponent as the sole project manager and prime contractor. The Proponent is fully responsible for procurement, administration and oversight of services, personnel and subcontractors required to execute the project. NOTE: Proponents do not have to offer all the above services – you will be considered for this bid list if you only provide some of the above services. But for the services you want to be considered for you must meet the Mandatory requirements as detailed in attached synopsis document. Companies interested in being considered for this bid list shall complete the attached Attachment 1 – Storage Engineering Services Response Template RFSQ (all applicable cells across all nine (9) tabs and submit it in Excel format, together with the requested documents). Failure to provide sufficient information for SaskEnergy, in its sole discretion, to confirm that the mandatory requirements are met may result in the response not being further evaluated.
