Storm Drain Repair

The work performed under this contract shall consist of furnishing all labor, tools, parts, materials, facilities and transportation necessary to upgrade the storm drain system which includes removing pavement and curb and gutter along Tingle/C Street, reworking and reconnecting existing inlets and boxes, adding new inlets and boxes, installing temporary lines and connecting these lines into the system to allow replacement of existing lines. It also requires temporary drainage structures to maintain positive drainage during construction. It includes relocation of utilities encountered, and replacement of Live Oak trees as directed. Existing underground utilities are located throughout the project limits and all water lines and power lines found to be in conflict with construction shall be relocated. All gravity sewer lines found to be in conflict will be accommodated through adjustments to the drainage plan through the installation of conflict boxes. All storm drain lines taken out of service will be removed and backfilled or retired in place, if allowed by Keesler AFB, and filled with flowable fill. The approximate amount of sewer line work is:3,500 lf of various sizes of pipe from 18" RCP to 73" X 45" RCAP, 3,800 lf of concrete curb and gutter, 2,400 lf of asphalt street to be excavated, repaved and repainted per specifications and associated temporary structures needed to keep drainage system operating throughout the construction activities at Keesler AFB, MS. This acquisition will be awarded to a HubZone Small Business Concern, utilizing Performance Price Trade-off (PPT) Procedures. Interested responsible HubZone sources may submit a proposal. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237110. The size standard is $33.5 Million. Magnitude of proposed construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The contract performance period will be 270 days from the Notice to Proceed.
