Sealed bids addressed to City of O’Fallon, 100 North Main Street, O'Fallon, MO 63366 for the proposed work will be received by the City of O’Fallon, MO until 2:00pm (prevailing local time) on August 12, 2026 at the office of the City of O’Fallon, 100 North Main Street, O’Fallon, MO 63366, and at that time will be publicly opened. Bids may be hand delivered to the Purchasing Agent of the City of O’Fallon during City Hall hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Mailed proposals are accepted with regular mail service. Bids should be delivered to: City of O’Fallon, 100 North Main Street, O’Fallon, MO 63366.

The proposed work includes: Roadway resurfacing, construction of a roundabout intersection, storm sewer replacement, sidewalk and curb ramp improvements, and decorative lighting along Main Street between the NSRR tracks and St. Joseph Ave.

Contract Documents are on file at the office of Drexel Technologies at http://planroom.drexeltech.com and are open for public inspection. Copies of documents may be obtained from Drexel Technologies for the fee listed online.
Communications between the bidders and the City shall be conducted and documented in writing through the use of email communication to ptalimonchuk@ofallonmo.gov. No oral interpretation will be recognized.

All labor used in the construction of this public improvement shall be paid a wage no less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages of work of a similar character in this locality as established by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations (Federal Wage Rate), or state wage rate, whichever is higher.

The City of O’Fallon, Missouri hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin in consideration for an award.

All bidders must be on MoDOT’s Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the Missouri Standard Specifications for highway Construction, 2025 Edition including all revisions. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening. The project will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder.

Contractors and sub-contractors who sign a contract to work on public works project provide a 10-Hour OSHA construction safety program, or similar program approved by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, to be completed by their on-site employees within sixty (60) days of beginning work on the construction project.
A certified or cashier’s check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal.

The City of O’Fallon reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
