NEW HAVEN, CT - USCG STRATFORD SHOAL LIGHT HOUSE REPAIRS & SOUTHPORT LIGHT 7 RIPRAP CASREP ISSUE DATE: 12/31/12. Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, transportation, disposal, and supervision necessary to conduct repairs to the Stratford Shoal Lighthouse and Southport Light 7 at Coast Guard Sector Long Island Sound, New Haven, CT (New Haven County). The work at Stratford Shoal Lighthouse includes disconnecting and relocating the existing pipe tower to Sector Long Island Sound, rebuilding the riprap foundation to Mean Higher High Water (MHHW), installing a new concrete manhole foundation and anchoring it with riprap, fabricating and installing a new pipe tower and related components. The work at Southport Light 7 includes the provision and installation of 60 tons of riprap around the concrete light foundation and incidental related work. Note: This project requires specialized experience in Architectural Sheet Metal Fabrication and Metal Restoration. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 237990 with a small business size standard of $33.5M. The magnitude of construction range is between $100,000 and $250,000.
