Strathcona County has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for IT hardware and related services, inviting qualified firms to submit proposals for three distinct categories: server, storage, and networking; end-user computing; and audio visual, radio, and security hardware. The RFP also encompasses related services such as installation and troubleshooting that may be required periodically. The County intends to select one qualified proponent for each category but allows firms to submit proposals for one, two, or all three categories within the same response. Proponents must specify which categories they are bidding for, following the instructions provided in the RFP documentation. The selected proponents will be invited to negotiate agreements for the categories awarded to them. The solicitation was posted on January 15, 2026, with responses due by February 10, 2026. This procurement is managed by Strathcona County under the Government of Canada framework and is intended for delivery within Alberta. Interested parties can access the detailed RFP documents through the Euna portal and direct any inquiries to the designated contracting authority, Miranda Schauer. This competitive process aims to secure reliable suppliers to fulfill the County’s IT infrastructure needs under clear and structured contractual terms.

RFP documents should be obtained from the Euna portal at https://strathcona.bonfirehub.ca This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by Strathcona County (the “County”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for IT Hardware and Related Services, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix A) (the “Deliverables”). The County is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide the following Categories of hardware for Information Technology (IT) (each a “Category”): 1. Server, storage, and networking; 2. End-user computing; and 3. Audio visual, radio and security. In addition to providing hardware, the County may require from time to time related services such as installation and troubleshooting. The County is seeking one qualified proponent for each Category of products. For clarity, a proponent may be selected for more than one Category. Proponents are asked to identify in their submission response which Categories they wish to respond to and be considered for (refer to the Workbook Instructions in the Pricing Form (Attachment 3) and Rated Criteria Evaluation Form (Attachment 4) for additional instructions). Proponents are permitted to respond to one, two, or all three of the Categories within the same submission. Each selected proponent of this RFP will be invited to enter into negotiations for an Agreement (Attachment 1) for the Category for which they are selected.
