Description: The purpose of this contract is to secure a complete set of services to accomplish a stream restoration project via end product log placement. The Contractor shall provide services to move approximately 200 trees from staging sites to flagged destinations in Huckleberry and Ninth Creek. Destinations range from about 0.1 to 0.5 miles from staging sites to log placement sites. Tree and log weights are estimated at 5,000 pounds and less. Tree and log lengths range from 35 to 45 feet long. A potential service landing is available near the project area. The Contractor may use any method (e.g. Helicopter/sling load, cable yarding, etc...) for delivery. The estimated start work date is September 11, 2017.
