Streambed Alteration Agreement No. EPIMS-MEN-67204-R1 for Timber Harvesting Plan (THP) 1-26-00022-MEN

Streambed Alteration Agreement No. EPIMS-MEN-67204-R1 is a forecast agreement issued by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife in coordination with the Department of Forestry and Fire Protection. The project is located in Mendocino County on the Garcia River and unnamed tributaries, approximately three miles east of Point Arena. The scope of work involves modifying Class II and Class III watercourses at both new and existing road crossings, as well as diverting water from a Class I watercourse, all in support of Timber Harvesting Plan 1-26-00022-MEN. The project is governed by the California Environmental Quality Act and the Public Resources Code, with a Notice of Determination confirming that environmental review and mitigation measures have been addressed. Administrative oversight is provided by Janelle Deshais of the Department of Fish and Wildlife and Eric Hedge of the Department of Forestry and Fire Protection. Notably, payment is not required for this agreement pursuant to Public Resources Code section 4629.6(c).
