Strengthening Global Health Security through local partnerships in Sierra Leone

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, under the Department of Health and Human Services, is soliciting proposals through CDC-RFA-JG-26-0050 to strengthen Sierra Leone’s public health system by enhancing its capacity to prevent, detect, and respond to infectious disease threats. The initiative focuses on building local leadership and sustainability through multisectoral partnerships, prioritizing core capacities in data and surveillance, diagnostics, public health workforce development, and institutional strengthening.
