It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals or quotes and does not obligate the Government to award a contract.  Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response.  Responses to this sources sought must be in writing.  The purpose of this sources sought announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified Small Businesses interested and capable of providing the services described below.

The information gained from this market research will help the National Institutes (NIH) Clinical Center (CC) plan for its acquisition strategy. 



Potential Large and Small Businesses shall include business information outlined in the section below as a part of their response.

Description of Requirement:


NIH/CC is seeking to buy Thirty Six (36) Stryker Life-Pak 35 Low Configuration and Thirteen (13) Stryker Life-Pak High Configuration defibrillators. All equipment and supplies will be new and unused. A Salient Characteristics Document is provided and is based on Clinical Center’s requirement.



The Contractor shall provide defibrillators that are compatible with the functionality and supplies of the CC-Wide defibrillators. Housewide defibrillators are LifePak 15, LifePak 20e, CR2 AED. Defibrillators will have FDA approval and UL 60601 certification. 



This will be a one time purchase with equipment and services to be delivered within 8 weeks of award.
