Full Description

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Office of Intelligence and Counter Intelligence is seeking to add an additional research product to contract DE-IN0000070. Contract DE-IN0000070 was awarded to the Energy Intelligence Group (EIG) on July 30, 2014 for 18 separate specialized subscription research products. This contract was awarded under a sole sources basis. The DOE is looking to add the ?Nuclear Intelligence Weekly? research product to DOE contract DE-IN0000070 for the remainder of Option Year 1 and all of Option Year 2 and Option Year 3. The DOE is also looking to increase the number of users for each product from 8 users per product to 10 users per product. The DOE is using exemption to competition 6.302-1(a)(2), One Responsible Source. This is a notice of intent and not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation is available for this requirement. If a firm believes the DOE should not pursue adding the ?Nuclear Intelligence Weekly? subscription product and increase the number of users to up 10 users per product to contract DE-IN0000070, then they should submit a capability statement by 8 AM. ET May 9, 2016. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
