The General Services Administration (GSA) is seeking to lease approximately 19,225 square feet of office and related space within the city limits of West Covina, California. The lease term being considered includes a 15-year full term, consisting of a 10-year firm term and a 2-year option term. The space must provide 60 parking spaces and comply with stringent government requirements, including fire safety, accessibility, seismic standards, and sustainability. Additionally, the offered space must not be located within the 1-percent-annual chance floodplain. A fully serviced lease arrangement is required to meet the Government’s operational needs. The current lease for the U.S. Government-occupied space in West Covina is expiring, prompting GSA to explore alternative locations that might offer economic advantages. Considerations for relocation include potential physical move costs, costs to replicate tenant improvements and telecommunications infrastructure, and downtime for the agency. Entities interested in offering suitable space are advised to review the telecommunications prohibitions under section 889 of the FY19 National Defense Authorization Act, as reflected in the Federal Acquisition Regulations. Expressions of interest are due by June 21, 2026, with submissions directed to Contracting Officer Stephen Janssen via email.
