SUNSHADE INSPECTION This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 6.302-1; only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The 127 MSC 43200 Maple Street, Building 105, Selfridge ANG Base, MI has a requirement to procure the following items: CLIN 0001: Conduct a formal USAF/UFC Sun Shade Inspection IAW AFI 21-136 of the127 Wing Sunshade Canopies. A Manufacturers Certification of Conformance with Original Design Requirements must be issued after completion of inspections. - 12 EACH PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 30 Days ADC Include all necessary equipment to perform the inspection in the CLIN. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source contract to: EDL Construction, Inc. 871 Coronado Center Drive, Suite 200 Henderson, NV 89052 The firm is the sole distributor of the product and no other source will satisfy the Government's requirement, since work by other companies would void the warranty.
