Supply and Delivery of New Roll-Up Generators

The Regional Municipality of York has issued Request for Tender RFT-3852-26-23059 for the supply and delivery of two new, current model year, trailer-mounted, multi-voltage roll-up diesel generators and associated accessories. The requirement includes one 150kW unit and one 450kW unit to support the Facilities Operations and Maintenance group's emergency response and routine maintenance activities. All equipment must be delivered FOB Destination to the Region’s Maintenance Facility in East Gwillimbury, ON, and must meet ISO 8528 performance standards and EPA Tier 4 Final or Canadian equivalent emissions compliance. Deliverables must also include completed licensing and registration for the trailer-mounted units, along with technical documentation such as data sheets, arrangement drawings, and CSA/ULC certifications. Bids must be submitted electronically through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website no later than 1:00:00 p.m. EST on October 26, 2026. The contract will be awarded to the lowest priced compliant bidder based on a three-stage evaluation process involving mandatory technical requirements and pricing. Payment is structured in four installments: a 10% initial payment upon order execution, a 20% payment upon approval of technical submittals, and subsequent payments following successful post-delivery inspection, formal sign-off by the Facilities Operations and Maintenance Manager, and completion of operator training. Selected suppliers must comply with various regulatory standards, including WSIB clearance, AODA compliance, and specific insurance requirements, including at least $1,000,000 in Employers Liability Insurance if not covered by WSIB.
