Supply and Delivery of One Autonomous Remotely Operated Underwater Vehicle

The Government of Ontario, through the Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks, is soliciting bids for the supply and delivery of one Autonomous Remotely Operated Underwater Vehicle (AUV/ROV). The technical response is worth 50 points, focusing on maintenance documentation, repair services, bidder experience, business responsiveness, and local Ontario benefits. The commercial response is worth 50 points, calculated relative to the lowest bid price. Canadian businesses receive an additional 10 points to level the playing field, while U.S. businesses are ineligible for consideration. Compliance requirements are stringent, requiring bidders to provide a Tax Compliance Verification number and adhere to the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Bidders must also implement emergency evacuation plans that accommodate persons with disabilities per the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act. All submissions must be made through the Ontario Tenders Portal by the deadline of November 12, 2026.
