6515--EQUIPMENT - ANESTHESIA WORKSTATIONSThe Department of Veterans Affairs, through the 242-NETWORK Contract Office 02 in Albany, New York, has issued a Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract for the procurement of anesthesia workstations under Product Service Code 6515 and NAICS code 334510, with a designated set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. The procurement targets the acquisition of a proprietary Apollo Anesthesia system specifically configured for use in operating rooms, including core components such as the Atlan Main Configuration, Gas Supply, Endotracheal suction hardware, accessories for vapor and other items, and a power socket. This notice is strictly for market research and does not constitute a formal solicitation; no proposals or quotations will be accepted for contract award, and no contract will be awarded based on responses received. Although a response deadline of June 23, 2026, at 10:00 AM EDT was originally indicated, the metadata conflicts with a later posted date of July 10, 2026, and a response deadline of July 17, 2026, at 2:00 PM EDT, suggesting potential administrative adjustment. Responses challenging the sole source intent must be emailed to Aleta Jennette, the Contracting Officer, and must include comprehensive technical and pricing data detailing the respondent’s ability to meet the requirement, though no formal submission format, page limits, or file type requirements are specified. The contracting officer’s contact details are provided, and no solicitation documents, evaluation factors, delivery schedules, pricing structures, inspection criteria, or contract administration details are available, as this is a pre-solicitation market research notice with no intention to establish a competitive procurement process.

The University of Western Ontario is inviting qualified suppliers to submit proposals for the supply and installation of an advanced inverted fluorescence microscope system and a high-throughput slide scanner, both intended to support translational neuroscience research. The systems will enable multiplex imaging, large-area tissue mapping, and integration with complementary technologies such as mass spectrometry imaging and other spatial biology workflows, with the university preferring a single integrated solution but open to selecting multiple products if necessary to meet all functional needs. The tender, issued under solicitation number UWORFPSR-1915, is an open process accessible to all interested suppliers and governed by the Canadian Free Trade Agreement and the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic Trade Agreement. All submissions must be uploaded electronically via the BonfireHub portal by the deadline of June 23, 2026, at 12:00 PM ET, and must include mandatory documentation such as the Submission Form, Rate Bid Form, Reference Form, Deliverables and Technical Requirements Questionnaire, Sustainability Commitment documentation, and the Proponents Checklist, all in English. Evaluation of proposals will be based on a scored criteria that includes experience and qualifications, technical compliance, service and support, sustainability practices, value-added ideas, accessibility in accordance with AODA, pricing, and in-kind contributions. The equipment is required to be delivered and installed by December 2026, with the agreement duration beginning upon successful receipt and fulfillment of all contractual obligations. Western reserves the right to enter into negotiations with one or more suppliers following evaluation, and while the budget is not disclosed, detailed technical specifications, participation conditions, and additional options are available in the full tender documents. Suppliers are advised to retrieve the most current information directly from the official portal, as any discrepancies between the notice and the tender documents shall be resolved in favor of the documents. Information is also accessible through Merx, though fees may apply for document access.
