(EP0035) Repair the flat roofs Waterproofing membranes at the north and south elevations, Episkopi, Cyprus & JRD Upgrades in line with the Defence Catering Strategy, Episkopi, Cyprus * Please provide a detailed description of the notice you are adding: Refurbishment of Junior Ranks Mess (EP0035) to uplift design and enhance user attractiveness. The following tasks are included: - Suspended ceiling to be replaced. - Replacement and reposition of movable and immovable furniture as well as addition of new ones (tills, etc.) - Re-cladding of existing station and drinks area. Existing clad to be removed. - Preparation and repainting of external and internal walls and ceiling surfaces as shown on the plans. - Local repair of cracks and damaged plaster, including cleaning, filling, and reinstatement. - Minor internal modifications including construction or removal of non-load-bearing parti-tions and repair of skirting boards, door frames and finishes. Works also include roof works and refurbishment as explained below: Building & Civil Works (B&CE) - Removal & replacement of existing bituminous waterproofing membrane. - Removal of asbestos flaking paint from affected surfaces & redecoration. - Carry out repairs to existing surfaces at walls and slabs affected. - Supply and installation of new edge protection railings at roof, complete with concrete upstands and waterproofing. Electromechanical Works (M&E) - Removal of existing kitchen extractions fans, hoods/vent ducts, currently located at the roof & reinstatement at completion of works. - Replacement of existing hot and cold services located on the roof. - Isolation and removal of heating pipework currently located the roof & installation of new, with direct feed from the plantroom area. Asbestos-containing materials is present within the existing structure. All the asbestos-works must be carried out by licence contractors.
