Supply, Delivery & Support of Extreme Networks Equipment

The Corporation of the City of Oshawa has issued Request for Tender C2026-088 for the supply, delivery, and support of Extreme Networks equipment. The scope of work includes the procurement of various hardware components, such as ExtremeSwitching 5420M and 5320 series switches, power supply modules, power cords, ExtremeCloud IQ Indoor WiFi6 Wallplates, and controller activation licenses. Additionally, the contract requires three-year terms for ExtremeWorks and Platform One support and licensing. All equipment must be delivered to the Information Technology Services Branch in Oshawa no later than November 30, 2026. Because the City lacks a loading dock, the successful contractor is responsible for ensuring delivery vehicles are equipped with an appropriate lift for unloading and transporting equipment to staging areas. Bids must be submitted electronically through the City’s Bidding System by the deadline of September 23, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. local time; hard-copy submissions will be rejected. All pricing must be quoted in Canadian funds on a Free on Board (F.O.B.) destination basis. While the City is not required to accept the lowest tender, evaluation will be based on price and a significant advantage for domestic content. Specifically, a ten percent evaluation advantage is granted to the bidder with the highest proportion of Ontario Made Goods and/or Ontario Services, in accordance with the Buy Ontario Act. Bidders must demonstrate sufficient experience, provide legitimate references, and comply with various regulatory standards, including the Occupational Health and Safety Act, the Human Rights Code, and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act. Standard payment terms are Net 30 days, and the City offers electronic invoicing and direct deposit options.
