Supply Light Duty Trucks - Kneehill County

Kneehill County is soliciting tenders under solicitation RFT-2027-3205-TRUCKS01 for the supply and delivery of eight new, standard production-model light duty trucks. The requirement includes six 1/2 ton pickup trucks with V8 gasoline engines and 4x4/AWD, one 2-3 ton service truck with a diesel engine and 4x4, and one 2-3 ton dump truck with a diesel engine and 4x4. All vehicles must be new; demonstrators or previously used rental units are strictly prohibited. Desired delivery dates are as soon as possible after January 1st, 2025, for the dump truck and after January 1st, 2027, for the service truck and other units. The County is open to considering new in-stock units to mitigate supply chain constraints. Tenders will be evaluated and awarded by line item based on the lowest cost and compliance with all mandatory requirements. The evaluation process may include shortlisting and formal presentations. In the event of a tie, the County will consider previous performance, earliest delivery dates, and value-added services. Pricing must be quoted in Canadian funds and held firm for at least sixty calendar days. The vendor is responsible for all costs related to packaging, shipping, and insurance, and must ensure vehicles meet Canadian standards and include reflective conspicuity markings. Payment will be issued within 45 days following the acceptance of goods, which occurs 10 business days after receipt unless the County notifies the vendor of non-compliance. The contract requires vendors to provide ethical standards and conflict of interest policies upon request and to indemnify the County against property loss or damage.
