AI Contract Overview
The contract solicitation SPE4A7-26-T-586E calls for the procurement of 12 units of a cable support engine component identified by part number 7-211660009-3 and NSN 1560011707413, manufactured via a metal casting process requiring specialized tooling. The item must conform to technical specifications from McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Co. drawing 7-211660009 Revision D dated January 1, 1939, and all applicable provisions within the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, which override any commercial standards like ASTM D3951. Inspection and acceptance occur at the supplier’s origin, with sampling governed by MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331, requiring zero non-conformances for acceptance unless otherwise stated; critical, major, and minor attributes are assigned specific verification levels and AQLs, with unspecified attributes treated as major. Packaging must comply with DLA’s RP001 standards and MIL-STD-129 for marking and labeling, with hazardous materials following TQ IP025 and non-hazardous items meeting ASTM D3951 under DLA’s precedence rules. The contractor must adhere to CMMC Level 2 cybersecurity self-assessment and DFARS 252.204-7012 requirements for safeguarding covered defense information, and is subject to FAR clauses including the prohibition on internal confidentiality agreements, maintenance of SAM registration, and safeguards against unauthorized obligations. Delivery is FOB origin with a 171-day delivery window, required by January 17, 2027, and final delivery to DLA Distribution Corpus Christi, TX. Payment will be processed exclusively through WAWF, and the contract type is fixed-price under FAR 52.216-1 Alternate I. The solicitation mandates representations of small business status, UEI and CAGE codes, socioeconomic certifications, and compliance with cybersecurity and hazardous materials reporting obligations, with no pricing listed in Section B, indicating the award may be automated on a lowest price technically acceptable basis.
