Full Description
This Solicitation is for Nitrogen Cross Connect Panels, Nitrogen Manifold Panels, and Hose Assemblies, that support maintenance and installation activities for the Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY). This procurement is for supplies only; no installation services are requried under this action. This requirement is a brand-name sole source acquisition from Dibert Valve & Fitting Co.Inc. as the authorized distributor for SWAGELOK products. Please see the Extended Descriptions for CLIN 0001, CLIN 0002, and CLIN 0003 in the attached Request for Quote (RFQ).
The parts requested are direct replacement for existing shipyard equipment and SWAGELOK is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The parts requested are "one for one" replacements and must be procured from the OEM (or his authorized distributor) in order for the equipment to operate to shipyard and OEM performance standards. Any other parts and/or accessories not from the OEM would cause malfunction of equipment there by rendering the equipment inoperable and causing delay in the vessels scheduled work package. RFQ N4215826QE066 is a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) solicitation for a sole-source requirement. No substitutions allowed.
Vendors are required to fill in and sign the attached RFQ N4215826QE066. Vendors must check yes or no for each item on the attached form labelled "Attachment 1 Technical Capability Statement". This form must also be signed and dated at the end.
