MATLAB Software Renewal and Maintenance Subscription The Space and Systems Command Contracting Directorate (SSC/AC PK), Los Angeles AFB intends to issue a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price Supply Contract under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures; FAR 6.302 Circumstances Permitting Other Than Full and Open Competition, implemented by FAR 6.302-1 IAW FAC 2021-07 (10 September 2021), to Mathworks, Inc., 3 Apple Hill Dr, Natick, MA 01760. The applicable NAICS is 511210 with a size standard of $14.5 million. The required items are as follows: The requirement is for software license renewal manufactured by MATLABS. The system must have interoperability capabilities with the current SSC software system. This notice neither constitutes a Request for Quote (RFQ) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB), nor does it restrict the Government in any way to an ultimate acquisition approach; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the Government. THIS IS NOT AN RFQ AND IS NOT TO BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. SSC has appointed an Ombudsman to hear concerns from potential offerors relating to this acquisition. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the Program Director or Contracting Officer, but communicates contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
