NASA/LaRC has a requirement for (18) annual online subscriptions to variousjournals in the areas of engineering, science, and specialty research.NASA/LaRC intends to purchase the items from American Chemical Society, which is the onlysource for these required journals being used by NASA.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the SimplifiedAcquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local timeon 12/15/2011. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purposeof determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis.
