The contract calls for the production and delivery of 75,000 kits, each containing a brochure, 30 business reply cards, and a single letter. The brochure measures approximately 31-9/16 by 11-3/4 inches and is printed in full 4-color process on both sides, finished with a clear aqueous coating. It folds into a 10 by 8-inch piece with a 6-1/2-inch glued pocket at the bottom with a gusset to securely hold the business reply cards. The brochure paper is a white, 12-point coated cover similar to Carolina Cover stock. Each business reply card measures 9-1/2 by 7-1/2 inches, printed full color on the front with a clear varnish finish, and black on the back. Cards feature a die-cut tab with rounded corners and a vertical perforation, printed on 7-point white paper resembling 66-lb Sappi Aero. Thirty cards are to be inserted into each brochure pocket. The letter included in each kit is 7 by 10 inches, single-sided in 4-color process on white, 100% rag bond paper similar to Crane Crest Fluorescent. The letter is inserted loose within the brochure pocket. All kits must be shrink-wrapped in mailable plastic for shipment. Delivery is required at the bidder’s expense to Livonia, Michigan. Copy for all printed materials will be provided through a Wamnet System, and proofs are mandatory before production. Bidders must request a complete bid package on their firm’s letterhead via fax, as no specifications have been written yet, and must have the full bid package before submitting quotations.
