Tactical Airspace Integration System (TAIS) and TAIS Airspace Workstation (AWS) Engineering Services (ES) and Performance Based Logistics (PBL)

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The proposed sole source contract action is for an additional 12 months of period of performance for Tactical Airspace Integration System (TAIS) and TAIS Airspace Workstation (AWS) Engineering Services (ES) and Performance Based Logistics (PBL) beginning 01 July 2018 and ending 30 June 2019. The contract action will bridge the capabilities gap from the current TAIS contract (W58RGZ-14-C-003) and a new competitive contract which is anticipated to be awarded in Fiscal Year 2019. This contract action will be procured from General Dynamics C4 Systems (GDC4S), 6000 Technology Drive, Building 6, Huntsville, AL 35805 (CAGE 1VN18), who is the incumbent contractor, pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii), "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." It is anticipated that any source other than GDC4S would not be viable for this one-time bridge effort due to unacceptable delays in fulfilling mission requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
