This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Synopsis/Solicitation N0017824Q6652 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This unique hardware is a vital component to existing systems presently installed that has major efforts in the system development as well as certification has occurred using these cables substitution of another part would involve a complete redesign, require additional certification, and would cause unacceptable delays in fulfilling mission requirements and time sensitive operational support. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 13. The order shall be firm fixed price.
