The Town of Florence is soliciting proposals under RFP 27-010 for Entertainment and Talent Booking and Contracting Services to support the 2027 Fourth of July Freedom Fest. The selected contractor will act as the official liaison between the Town and talent agents to negotiate and secure a lineup consisting of one headlining act for approximately 90 minutes and two opening acts for approximately 45 minutes each. Performance will take place at the Multipurpose Fields in Florence, Arizona. The contractor is responsible for delivering a comprehensive entertainment plan, a proposed performer lineup, and an itemized budget, while managing all artist-related requirements including licensing, permits, and riders. The total entertainment budget is estimated between 30,000 and 50,000 dollars, which must cover all artist fees, commissions, travel, and hospitality. Proposals are due electronically via the OpenGov portal by December 3, 2026, and will be evaluated based on relative experience and qualifications (30%), talent access and lineup quality (30%), technical approach (20%), and staffing (10%). Awardees must maintain general liability and professional liability insurance with a minimum of 500,000 dollars per claim and 1,000,000 dollars annual aggregate. The contract requires strict adherence to Arizona state laws, including E-Verify compliance and prohibitions against the use of forced labor and the boycott of Israel.
