Amendment to Port of Long Beach Tariff No. 4, Item 106 (revise the term and definition by replacing Chief Executive with Chief Executive Officer); Item 170 (revise the term Domestic Merchandise to include Domestic Cargo and Domestic Container, and expand the definition to be more specific on what qualifies as Domestic Merchandise, Domestic Cargo, or Domestic Container); and Item 315 (revise Containerized Wharfage Charges by removing the Exception Cargo rates). Notes 1 and 3 will be deleted from Item 315, along with any reference to Notes 1, 2, and 3. Note 2 will be renamed as Note, being the only Note to the Item. Item 307 (Domestic Container Incentive Program) will be added to Tariff No. 4 which incentivizes domestic containers moved through the Port of Long Beach at $3 per twenty-foot equivalent unit (TEU) for inbound and outbound 20-foot and 40-foot containers. For inbound containers that are 45-foot and more, the incentive is $7 and for outbound containers that are 45-foot and more, it is $12. Incentive payments are payable to marine terminal operators in the first quarter of the calendar year for incentives earned in the previous calendar year.
