Description of Work:
The IM/IT Security division of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFATD) IT Security is seeking consulting services under the TBIPS Category – C.6 Information Technology Security Engineer - Level 3
The primary objective of the cybersecurity architecture and engineering resource is to safeguard DFATD’s digital assets by designing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive suite of cybersecurity platforms and solutions. This role is responsible for translating departmental cyber security and Security Operation Centre requirements into technical solutions, ensuring these solutions are integrated into existing IT infrastructure and departmental processes
The resources will ensure robust cybersecurity capabilities are engineered and fortify DFATD’s digital infrastructure against evolving threats. Moreover, they will be responsible for continuously renewing existing cybersecurity controls, staying at the forefront of emerging threats and industry best practices, and designing innovative solutions to adapt to the ever-changing cybersecurity landscape.
