Oncolog provides a cancer registry data system to help identify new cancer cases; abstract data according to national standards/requirements; prepare standardized and custom reports; exports data to meet state, accreditation, and research requirements; anThe University of Mississippi Medical Center is seeking to renew maintenance and support services for the Oncolog cancer registry data system under a sole source procurement, with an estimated contract value of $49,629 over a three-year period. The system is essential for identifying new cancer cases, abstracting patient data in accordance with national standards, generating standardized and custom reports, exporting data to fulfill state, accreditation, and research obligations, performing survival analysis, and linking cancer-related deaths via DeathLog integration. The procurement is non-competitive, justified by the exclusivity of Onco, Inc. as the sole provider of this software, with no viable alternatives available to meet the required functionality and compliance standards. The contract performance will occur in Mississippi, with the University of Mississippi Medical Center as the contracting entity, and the delivery of services is implied to be remote or integrated within the agency’s existing infrastructure. The solicitation number is 9275-27-R-RFIN-00001, with a response deadline of July 24, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. Central Time. Offers must be submitted electronically to solesource@umc.edu or mailed to 100 Capitol Street, Jackson, MS 39201, and must include a completed Objection Certification (Attachment B), which requires the submitter to affirm the truthfulness of the information provided under penalty of adverse action. No formal evaluation factors are defined because the acquisition is not competitive; instead, the award is based on statutory sole source justification citing system compatibility, lack of alternatives, and vendor exclusivity. The NAICS code is 541512, and while the agency code and RFx number are provided, specific accounting, payment, invoicing, or contract administration details such as a contracting officer, COTR, or WAWF requirements are absent from the documentation. Packaging, marking, and FOB terms are not applicable as the contract involves software services, not physical goods. Data abstraction and reporting must adhere to national cancer registry norms, and UMMC retains the right to inspect and accept performance at its facility in Jackson, Mississippi, though no detailed inspection criteria or quality metrics are outlined.
