The scope of work includes that the Webmaster (Web Publisher) codes and publishes web pages, and converts PDFs into accessible formats, using JavaScript frameworks, specifically React.js, Gatsby and headless content management systems, distributed source repository systems, specifically Git, Microsoft Azure DevOps tools, Microsoft Visual Studio and Microsoft Visual Code, and APIs for dynamic content, according to Government of Canada/Canada.ca Design System standards. They must code/convert the pages on the development server, assess for accessibility, conduct a quality assurance check of their work including broken links, make changes according to feedback and then publish the work online. The work is currently not being performed by a contracted resource.
