Technical Support Services for Synthetic Signature Generation (SSG) Based Systems

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division plans to modify contract N00167-15-D-0003, which was initially awarded to Leidos, Inc. on February 24, 2015, for providing scientific, engineering, and technical services related to Synthetic Signature Generation (SSG) based systems. This contract covers activities including design, development, fabrication, integration, testing, fleet implementation, and maintenance. The modification will increase the total Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee ceiling amount to accommodate additional Level-of-Effort hours, reflecting a need for extended tasking. Leidos remains the sole source contractor due to its unique capability to fulfill these specialized requirements for the Navy. The ordering period of the contract will remain unchanged despite the increase in funding. The modification is expected to take effect before September 2018. This contract action is a sole source procurement executed under statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition, and it is not open for bidding or further submissions.
