The purpose of this RFI is to identify qualified vendors who can provide onsite Telecommunications Cable System Support Services, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, documentation, and lifecycle support for inside plant (ISP) and outside plant (OSP) copper and fiberoptic cabling systems. The potential requirement would cover FLETC training delivery points, located at Artesia, NM; Charleston, SC; Cheltenham, MD; and Glynco, GA. The purpose of this RFI is to obtain information on capable sources that can provide mission critical telecommunication infrastructure support for voice, data, and network transport services. The environment includes ISP cabling, OSP copper and fiber backbone, communications rooms, handholes, manholes, and conduit systems.



The Government is not responsible for any cost incurred by industry in furnishing this information. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested vendor's expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future Request for Proposal (RFP), if any is issued. Any information submitted by respondents to this RFI is strictly voluntary. All submissions will become Government property and will not be returned.
