INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Contracting Division, ESD Home Team Branch (DITCO/PL833), 1 Overcash Drive, Letterkenny Army Depot PA 17201-4123, intends to issue a sole source award to Siemens Government Technologies, Inc. for the acquisition of Telephone System Maintenance and Components. The Government intends to issue a firm fixed price contract for this supply. The Statutory Authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition for this action is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as cited in FAR 6.302-1, when there is a supply or service available only from one or a limited number of responsible sources, and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy the agency's needs. This requirement will be negotiated on a sole source basis with Siemens Government Technologies, Inc., 2231 Crystal Drive, Suite 700, Arlington, VA 22202-3724. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This special notice shall not bind the Government and is for information purposes only. The NAICS code is 811213 with a Size Standard of $10,000,000.00 for this procurement.
