The intent of this solicitation is to establish a contract for professional services needed for formulating validated written multiple-choice examination materials to use in entrance exams for the ranks of Firefighter and Fire Prevention Inspector and in promotional exams for the ranks of Apparatus Operator, Fire Lieutenant, Fire Captain, Fire Battalion Chief, Fire Prevention Specialist, Fire Prevention Lieutenant, and Fire Prevention Captain in the Arlington Fire Department. These materials must be in compliance with Chapter 143 of the Texas Local Government Code, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and the Texas Commission on Human Rights Act.
