The Directorate of Contracting at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, is seeking to procure replacement parts for MilSpan Structures originally manufactured by Anchor Industries, Inc. The required parts include various panels, fabric floors, drop ceilings, and transition boots in specific sizes and configurations. This procurement is planned as a firm-fixed-price, supply-type contract to be awarded solely to Anchor Industries due to their status as the original manufacturer, which is essential to ensure compatibility with existing MilSpan Structures. The acquisition will be conducted under a sole source basis in accordance with the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures with other than full and open competition. Although the notice is not a request for competitive offers, any firm capable of meeting the requirements may submit a written response within 10 days from the notice publication, providing sufficient evidence to demonstrate their capability. Responses will be evaluated at the government’s discretion, but the expectation is to proceed with sole source negotiations if no viable alternatives are presented. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 314912, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. Interested parties must send responses via email or fax by March 1, 2007, with no telephone inquiries accepted. Points of contact are provided for questions or submission of responses.
