The Home Visiting Research, Improvement, Sustainability and Evaluation Center (HV-RISE)

The Home Visiting Research, Improvement, Sustainability and Evaluation Center will enhance the quality and impact of home visiting services by supporting programs in integrating research into practice, testing scalable improvements, and expanding evidence-based approaches that deliver positive outcomes for families. This initiative aims to strengthen the sustainability and effectiveness of home visiting models through targeted evaluation and continuous quality improvement, ensuring that services are informed by data and responsive to community needs. Managed by the Health Resources and Services Administration within the Department of Health and Human Services, the project is forecasted to be announced on August 10, 2026, with inquiries directed to the HV-RISE Program via homevisiting@hrsa.gov or 301-443-2170. The center will operate nationwide with no specific geographic restriction on performance locations, and while details on funding size, duration, or set-aside status are not yet available, the initiative reflects a coordinated federal effort to elevate home visiting as a critical component of public health and family support infrastructure.
