This initiative seeks to identify qualified 8(a) small business program participants with the historical regulatory, clinical, and technical expertise necessary to provide guidance and support for MDS and RAI activities. The primary objective is to gather capability statements to determine the most appropriate acquisition method and assess whether a set-aside is feasible. The scope of work involves maintaining MDS item sets, the RAI manual, training materials, and a Q&A database. Required contractor capabilities include expertise in long-term care regulations, project management, document management systems, and document publishing with a specific focus on Section 508 compliance. The selected contractor will be responsible for coordinating with CMS, adhering to strict approval and resubmission procedures, and meeting specific delivery expectations as outlined in the draft Statement of Work.
