The U.S. Embassy Pretoria is soliciting quotations for Residential Generator Services under RFQ PR15921756, with submissions due by close of business on May 30, 2025. All quotations must be submitted electronically on official company letterhead, including the company’s full address, contact information, and designated point of contact. The contract is a fixed-price acquisition where award will be made to the responsible offeror submitting the lowest-priced, technically acceptable quote, though the government reserves the right to conduct discussions if necessary. Compliance with U.S. federal regulations is mandatory; contractors must be registered in SAM.gov with verifiable proof submitted, waive all local South African terms and conditions, and accept the U.S. Embassy’s contractual clauses without modification. A complete set of required U.S. FAR clauses is incorporated by reference, including those governing security, labor standards, trafficking in persons, electronic funds transfer payments, and restrictions on covered telecommunications equipment. Payment will be made via EFT within 30 days of receipt of a proper invoice, with no advance or deposit payments permitted, and the contract is not subject to price or exchange rate adjustments. The scope of work requires comprehensive generator maintenance, repair, and 24/7 emergency response with a four-hour response time for critical failures, performed by qualified technicians using genuine manufacturer parts. Contractors must submit prior work checklists, test and inspection reports within three business days of completion, and provide proof of technician qualifications. All deliverables must adhere to U.S. government standards, including Buy American Act and Trade Agreements Act compliance, with country-of-origin labeling mandated. Security requirements mandate adherence to Department of State personal identification policies and unclassified resource safeguards. Contractors must complete the Ending Illegal Discrimination document and affirm compliance with provisions such as 52.240-90 and 52.222-50, which prohibit trafficking and require affirmative labor practices. No set-aside is designated, and no specific contract value, delivery schedule, FOB terms, or detailed inspection criteria are provided; performance is expected at the U.S. Embassy Pretoria location. All submissions must include mandatory representations on entity identifiers, size status, and compliance with federal reporting obligations, and all documents must be electronically transmitted by the deadline without alterations or price modifications accepted after submission.
