The Village Major Uniform Sign Program Amendment (PLNG25-025)

The Village Major Uniform Sign Program Amendment project, identified as PLNG25-025, is a planning initiative by the City of Elk Grove, California, to modify the existing sign program for The Village Shopping Center. The primary objective is to allow for the installation of one additional freestanding multi-tenant monument sign along the western boundary of the site on Wymark Drive. The project is located at the southwest corner of Elk Grove Boulevard and Big Horn Boulevard, encompassing several addresses from 8100 to 8190 Elk Grove Boulevard. The proposed sign will follow the existing Type B design specifications and will not exceed nine feet in height. To ensure minimal impact, the sign will be positioned approximately 350 feet from the nearest residential use. The City of Elk Grove Community Development Department has issued a Notice of Exemption under CEQA Guidelines Section 15311, classifying the sign as a minor accessory structure.
