W91CRB-18-R-5016 AMEND 01 NEW RESPONSE DATE JUNE 4, 2018 1:00 PM Eastern Standard Time 1. LTWS: 1.1 Will you allow LTWS with thermal imaging sensor having 12 microns pitch and 60Hz refresh rate? Response: Yes. 1.2. It appears that there is a mistake in Target Recognition Range specification for LTWS. Recognition range in excess of 700 meters for humans and in excess of 2800 meters for vehicles is far greater that for AN/PAS-13D. Will the following specification be accepted for LTWS: Detection: 1140 meters/Recognition: 280 meters/Identification 142 meters? Response: Detection of 1140 meters (undifferentiated) is acceptable in meeting requirement of 700 m (human)/2800m (vehicle). 1.3. Will digital magnification in addition to optical magnification be accepted for 4.0x narrow 1.50x wide? Response: Magnification requirements may be met by a sum of digital and optical magnifications. 1.4. Will it be acceptable if Weapon Mount Adapter is factory installed on the LTWS? Response: Factory installation of Weapon Mount Adapters is acceptable. 2. MTWS: 2.1 Will you allow MTWS with thermal imaging sensor having 12 microns pitch and 60Hz refresh rate?
