This contract is required to fill a significant gap in the Department of National Defence (DND) work capacity. Specifically, there is a need for a resource with experience in cryptographic projects and program management who can support the development of policy instruments and a new tracking program for their revision and publication. DND’s Director Project Delivery Common Information Systems (DPDCIS) has numerous cryptographic projects in progress that require policy instruments to be updated or developed. To better serve these projects and other stakeholders going forward, the Departmental COMSEC Authority (DCA) Office seeks to improve processes related to receiving inputs from stakeholders, improve efficiencies in modifying and publishing changes and improve situational awareness of stakeholders on the status of the changes
