The Contractor shall provide non-personal services.  This is a five (5) year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for recurring Thunderbirds Alterations for the USAF Air Demonstration Squadron.  The United States Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron (USAFADS) Thunderbirds are requesting the re-establishment of a BPA for the alterations necessary to maintain their uniforms.


- Making alterations to the Thunderbird duty uniform shirt to include: Adjust sleeve length in/out, sew crease on inside/outside of sleeve, adjust body of shirt in/out and/or up/down, sew crease on inside body along sides, apply/remove rank insignia, apply Thunderbird logo patch and meatball Velcro (patches will be provided).


- Making alterations to the Thunderbird duty uniform pant to include: Adjust pant length in/out, adjust body of pant in/out, adjust waistband in/out, sew crease on front/back of pant legs, sew front pockets down.


- Repair of any uniform items that are deemed still serviceable with repair. These repairs shall be deemed minor by the alterations professional and the Thunderbirds uniform supply manager.


This shall include repairing/re-altering uniforms not deemed “show quality”.
- Apply/remove Thunderbird patch to fleece/blue jackets.


REQUIREMENTS. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7 and Defense FAR Supplements (DFARS) 252.207-7004 Alt A, prospective vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to contract award. Lack of SAM registration shall be a determining factor for contract award.  Prospective vendors should visit the SAM website at https://sam.gov to register.
