Town Center Streetscape

The City of Johns Creek, Georgia, is soliciting bids for the Town Center Streetscape project, specifically focusing on improvements along Lakefield Drive. The scope of work includes constructing streetscape enhancements with on-street parking and pedestrian facilities, building a new connector road between Johns Creek Parkway and Lakefield Drive, and reconstructing the West entrance of City Hall with a raised intersection. The project also involves the installation of decorative elements and all other miscellaneous items necessary for completion. All work must adhere to Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) specifications, OSHA standards, the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, and Fulton County Technical Specifications for water and sewer facilities. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder who provides verifiable experience and three professional references. Bidders must submit their cost proposals electronically via BidNet by November 10, 2026. Required bonding includes a 5% bid bond and 100% payment and performance bonds. The selected contractor must comply with the Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act and the Drug-Free Workplace Act. Payment is processed through monthly invoicing, subject to a 5% retainage held until final project acceptance. The City, or its designated CE&I consultant, will perform weekly performance evaluations and inspections to ensure work meets the provided construction plans.
