THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ), or Invitation for Bid (IFB). It does not constitute a solicitation or a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. The Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this announcement.
The agency requires the procurement, delivery, and installation of a permanent 400m electronic track pacing system for the outdoor track at Kadena AB, Japan. The required system must consist of LED lights installed along the inside rail of a standard 400-meter track, positioned just above the track surface. The system must be capable of running up to 10 pacing programs simultaneously from 5 different starting points to provide individualized digital pacers for multiple athletes. The LEDs must be cast in epoxy with a polarizing coating to ensure clear visibility in bright sunlight and must be operable via laptop or tablet through a Wi-Fi connection.
