Trammel Fresno Road Sewer Main Project.

The City of Missouri City, Texas, has issued an Invitation for Bid (IFB) 25-031 for the Trammel Fresno Road Sewer Main Project, with the objective of enhancing the city's sewer infrastructure. This initiative aligns with the city’s mission to deliver efficient public services and improve community health and safety. The contract encompasses several key construction tasks that involve the installation and rehabilitation of sewer mains. These tasks include mobilization with a cost cap of 3% of the total bid, erection of a project sign, implementation of traffic control and regulation systems, and development of a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan. Additional work involves clearing and grubbing where necessary, laying down 10" and 12" PVC sanitary sewer gravity mains totaling over 2,200 linear feet, and installing a 10" PVC sanitary sewer within a 16" steel casing. Furthermore, construction tasks include building nine pre-cast corrosion-resistant sanitary sewer manholes, managing trench safety systems, and executing various supplemental tasks as directed by the engineer. The project is set to be completed within ninety days from the issuance of the notice to proceed and will take place in Missouri City, Texas. Interested parties must submit their bids by February 7, 2025, at 3 p.m. CDT to the City Secretary’s Office in Missouri City. While attendance at a pre-bid conference on January 16, 2025, is encouraged, it is not mandatory. The city maintains authority to reject any or all responses, cancel the solicitation, or make selections that best serve its interests. The estimated value of the project ranges from $2,000,000 to $5,000,000, and costs incurred in preparing responses to this solicitation are the responsibility of the bidders.
