Solicitation # FA252126QB112
Solicitation FA252126QB112 is a small business set-aside request for quote for a turnkey fencing and barricade service to support the Space Force T-Minus 10-Miler event at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida. The contractor is required to provide, deliver, install, and remove 4,500 linear feet of hard barricade fence panels, approximately 4 by 10 feet in size, with a preference for chain-link mesh. The primary objective is to secure the finish line area and prevent unauthorized vehicle access to the race course. The contract structure consists of a firm-fixed price base year with four optional one-year extensions running through December 2030. Performance requires strict adherence to a tight schedule, with delivery beginning no later than 1000 hours on the Friday prior to the event and full installation completed for inspection by 1600 hours that same day. All personnel must be off the installation by 1700 hours. Due to the location, strict US citizenship and background check mandates apply for base access. The government will award the contract based on best value, evaluating technical acceptability, price, and past performance. To ensure quality and accountability, the prime contractor must perform at least 50 percent of the payable service portion and employ an on-site supervisor as a W-2 employee.
