Transmission Line Rebuild ED2-ED4

Western Area Power Administration (Western), Desert Southwest Regional Office (DSW), has a requirement for a contractor to provide all supervision, labor, some materials and equipment, tools transportation, and any other resources necessary to complete this project. Work includes, but is not limited to constructing a new 230-kV switchyard in a three breaker ring configuration, installing a 161-kV shunt capacitor bank, constructing three approach spans with associated shoo-fly and dead-end steel pole structures, a communication tower, a service building, duct banks between the Arizona Public Service's (APS) yard and Bouse Switchyard, and dismantling the existing Bouse Substation, which will require the removal of existing service building, lattice structures, switches and instrument transformers. The work is located near Parker, Arizona. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 237130 and the applicable size standard is 33.5 million. The procurement will be issued as a 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE.
