The intent of this Request for Qualification (“RFQ”) is to solicit Submissions, in accordance with the requirements described in the RFQ document, from firms interested in providing construction services for: The Project: 2026-10 BF73949, DUNVEGAN BRIDGE REHABILITATION AND OTHER WORK A “qualification based” selection process will be employed for evaluation of RFQ Submissions. Submissions must receive a minimum score of equal to 70% or more of the maximum achievable total score for all evaluation categories in order to be considered for pre-qualification and invited to participate in the Tender process. Following an initial evaluation of Submissions, the Province will establish a list of successful Respondents. Only those Respondents notified of being short-listed (prequalified) will be invited to participate in the subsequent Tender process. The Province reserves the right to issue the Tender at any time during the validity period of the prequalification list, which shall remain valid for a period of up to three (3) years from the RFQ closing date. Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors (“TEC” or the “Province”) requires construction services for major superstructure rehabilitation for BF73949, Dunvegan Bridge, which carries Highway 2:68 over the Peace River at Dunvegan. The planned construction period is between May 2027 and October 2029. Traffic will be maintained during the rehabilitation until this Project is completed. Single-lane closure and short-term night-time full closure will be allowed. The project delivery method will be Design-Bid-Build.
