NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT Title: Tree and Shrub Maintenance Services, AAFC, Morden Research and Development Centre DESCRIPTION: Agriculture and Agri Food Canada’s Morden’s Research and Development Centre at 101 Route 100, Morden, Maitoba requires Tree and Shrub Maintenance services on an “as and when requested ” basis. This bid solicitation is to establish a contract with task authorizations (TA) for the delivery of the requirement detailed in the bid solicitation to the Identified Users. The contract period will be for one year from the date of contract with an irrevocable option to extend it for up to three (3) additional one-year periods. The anticipated start date is August 1, 2023. Security Requirements There are no security requirements associated with this requirement. Optional Site Visit Information It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held on July 12, at 10:00 a.m. CDT. Bidders are requested to communicate with the Site Authority no later than July 11 to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Basis of selection: A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract. Refer to the attached solicitation documents to obtain further information. Canada retains the right to negotiate with any supplier on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
