Tree Services At Green Gables Housing, Casa De Anza Apartments, And Robert Noriega Mobile Home Park

The Imperial Valley Housing Authority (IVHA) is soliciting bids for tree services across three California locations: Green Gables Housing and Casa De Anza Apartments in El Centro, and Robert Noriega Mobile Home Park in Brawley. The scope of work includes trimming eight palm trees at Green Gables and removing two mesquite trees at Casa De Anza and eight mesquite trees at Robert Noriega. All removal work requires stump grinding 4 to 6 inches below the surface, backfilling with clean topsoil, and daily off-site debris disposal. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, and materials, while adhering to OSHA and Cal/OSHA safety standards, the California Building Standards Code, and HUD General Contract Conditions. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based on price, qualifications, licensing, and past performance. Bidders must submit a sealed proposal by September 28, 2026, including a vendor profile, Section 3 certification, and a bid proposal form. For projects exceeding 100,000 dollars, bid, performance, and payment bonds are required. Compliance with the Davis-Bacon Act and California Labor Code prevailing wage requirements is mandatory. Payment terms are 30-day net from the date of invoice. Final acceptance is contingent upon a joint walk-through with IVHA staff to verify that all work is complete and all deficiencies are corrected.
